Why cleanwater kits?
Cleanwater has addressed the twin issues of efficiency and cost to develop a system that is suitable across a wide range of applications including; domestic water emergencies, travel, camping and caravanning, 4x4 offroading and emergency aid/relief situations where access to clean and safe drinking water is limited or simply not available.

	Long Life/Value for Money On average, the cleanwater filter candle will remain effective for at least 12 months of continuous usage (depending on water quality). The candle has a cleanable surface for longer life.
	Anti-Bacterial Action The Sterasyl filter candle is impregnated with colloidal silver to prevent bacterial growth, removing the need to sterilise the candle periodically.

How it works
Multi-stage filtration in one filter cartridge
The British Berkefeld® ceramic filter used in our water purification kits are impregnated with colloidal silver. The filter purifies the contaminated water by:

• Removing all sedimentary particles and suspensions down to 0.9 microns, thereby improving colour and taste of the water
• Killing 99.99% of harmful bacteria and cysts, including E-Coli, Cholera, Typhoid, Shigella, Klebsiella, Cryptosporidium and Giardia. These are responsible for life-threatening diarrhoeal diseases. Coupled with the siphon tube, purified water is delivered to the point of use at a rate of up to 10 litres per hour.


The filtration system works in three stages:
1.Outer shell - Micro Filtration.
2. The colloidal silver content of the ceramic matrix kills
the harmful bacteria and cysts.
3. Self setting siphon tube - Conveys the water to the
point of use.
